A symposium and concert entitled “Inspirations by Welty” held at Mississippi College in Clinton on January 14 celebrated the artistic glory of Eudora Welty and featured well-known singer/songwriters Claire Holley and Kate Campbell and Welty scholars Dr. Peggy Whitman Prenshaw and Dr. Elizabeth Crews. Welty Research Fellowship Deadline Extended Until March 17
The Eudora Welty Foundation and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) have announced the 2017 Eudora Welty Graduate Research Fellowship opportunity to encourage and support research in the Eudora Welty Collection and related materials at MDAH by graduate students.
