The Eudora Welty Foundation is fortunate to have Friends whose financial support makes possible a variety of educational and social activities that highlight Welty’s life and work. Gifts received from these donors help to endow the Eudora Welty Lecture; fund the Eudora Welty Chair of Southern Literature at Millsaps College; develop teaching resources; assist in preserving Eudora’s home and garden; and provide resources for seminars, competitions and festivals for young writers, established authors, and the public.
Welty Friends care about the legacy of this great writer and share her desire to help others appreciate literature and reading. They have a personal commitment to Eudora Welty, her fiction, her photographs, and her love for the written word.
You may designate your gift for a specific purpose or support the general fund.
