The Eudora Welty Foundation and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) have announced the 2017 Eudora Welty Graduate Research Fellowship opportunity to encourage and support research in the Eudora Welty Collection and related materials at MDAH by graduate students. This competitive fellowship of $2,000 will be offered for research conducted in summer 2017. The stipend may be used to cover travel, housing, and other expenses during their two-week stay in Jackson, Mississippi. The deadline for applications has been extended until March 17.
