Weekly programs will begin Monday, January 31, at 12 noon CST as we discuss William Faulkner’s 1929 novel The Sound and the Fury in the virtual Welty at Home Book Club. Jay Watson, Howry Professor of Faulkner Studies at the University of Mississippi, will be leading four of the discussions, and Suzanne Marrs, Welty scholar and biographer and professor emerita of English at Millsaps College, will lead four sessions.

We will be referencing the Vintage corrected edition of the novel shown here, although any other edition may be used.
